Conservative Warrior's Action Plan

Can conservatives win the House or Senate in November?

Possibly, but it's up to you. It's going to take an extremely passionate and expansive grassroots movement. The Tea Party is doing a great job, but what do you do if there isn't a Tea Party group near you or you would just like to get involved in other ways.

1. Vote & Get Out the Vote - This one is pretty obvious, but I still have to point out it is the one thing that matters most in the end. Help other conservatives get out to vote as well. The weather in November is often snowy and slick in many parts of the nation. Give conservatives a ride to the polls, pick them up at home, and encourage others in the community to do the same. Senior citizens may have trouble getting out so help them get an absentee ballot or pick them up at home. You can't count on the campaigns to organize this, you must take a part. Are you the leader who will organize this 'get out the vote' effort in your community? How many volunteer drivers do you need for your community? Give people a way to sign up to be picked up by your drivers. It is simple, common sense stuff but is truly powerful. Somebody has to do this in every community. November is still over 6 months away, but you must begin thinking about this and organizing now.

2. Donate - I know times are tough and politicians have burned us all before. The truth is, if we don't win in November times are always going to be tough, in my opinion. Funding plays a huge role in elections. If you can't give your time, give more.

3. Make Phone Calls - Many candidates have a way for you to make phone calls to voters from your home. You just need to get on the candidates website to see if they have a way for you to make calls. It will include numbers to call as well as a script.

4. Enlist Family and Friends - Make your team larger by enlisting your family and friends in your effort. With 1 family member or friend you can do twice as much and contribute twice as much.

5. Stay Informed & Make Your Voice Heard - As always we must be vigilant of our local, state, and federal government.
